Right, so it's been a long time since I wrote anything here... I've been so busy! Soccer ended last week, so now I'm a little more free X.X Anyways, in these past two quiet months, I have turned sixteen (heck yes!). So that's #1 on my list of things to do, down. I turned in my two weeks notice at work yesterday, as my parents have agreed to drive me to work at Five Below [with my two best friends ^^] for a month until I get my license and can drive myself. They also are giving each of us ['us' being myself and my two brothers] $2,000 towards the purchase of a car, which means I don't have to save every penny I earn any more. So yes, life is good.
School is ok, in the last entry I mentioned that my Brit Lit teacher was 'nice enough,' well as of right now I would like to rescind that, she's the worst teacher I've had in my life, and I don't hate very many teachers. I won't say anything else about her, as there's way too much for me to write.
Marching band championships are this weekend, and we're doing very well this year, last year we were bad. However, this year we're in the top 10 bands, I think we're ranked like 7th as of now? Our show is awesome, and I'm already excited for band next year.
Also, it's my host Maz's birthday today :] Not like anyone reads this, but if you do, it is, and you should leave her some birthday wishes on her blog!

40 comments I started school on Tuesday. My classes are ok. There are people I like and can talk to in all of them. But god damn am I going to be tired this semester... I have work, band, and soccer, which fill up my time from right after school until about 9:30 at night. ever day. All of my classes are honors, and I'm going to have a lot of homework. I was already up until 1:30 on night this week, and it was the first week of school. I would be fine if I could quit work, but unfortunately I still need to buy a car.
So yeah, I won't have too much of a life for a while. I'm just holding out for the next two months until soccer is over, then it'll all be good. I really am excited for my classes though, I have Trigonometry, British Literature, Spanish IV, and Electronic Music. My best friend is in two of those, and a girl who I work with, and who I think I'll end up being really good friends with is in the other two. My Brit Lit teacher is insane though. Totally mental. She's nice enough, though... not too much energy to write anything else, lol.

4 comments Highlight of my weekend... I spent the night over my best friend Katie's house, our other best friend Amanda was there as well. We went shopping, I bought a new backpack for school & a few pairs of jeans, as well as 24 pairs of ridiculously cute earrings. Then we went back to Katie's, and decided to camp out in a tent next to her house. See, her sister has a baby & still lives at home, so we can't be loud at night any more in case we wake her up. So whenever we can camp, we do.
Then I had a brilliant idea. Our friend Aaron lives right up the street from Katie, and he's always with our other friend Matt. I was like, hey, one night we should camp out & tell Matt to go over Aarons & we can hang out, because god knows Katie's parents have issues when it comes to her and guys [because of said sister's pregnancy at age 16] and also because it's hard to find a time when all of us can hang out. So then we decided to call Matt right them and tell him, and he just happened to be at Aaron's house. After twenty minutes of convincing Katie that her parents really were asleep, and wouldn't come out to 'check on us,' we ran over & met them halfway between the two houses. We all just talked & chilled for a while, it was great because haven't seen Aaron since he graduated at the beginning of June, and I've seen Matt like twice.
Annddd that is the extent of me 'sneaking out.' I know, everyone else pulls way worse shit. But it was still fun :]
Yeah, and soccer cuts got made today! And they actually cut people this year... although I'm on varsity and it doesn't really matter who makes JV anymore, I'm happy we won't end up having another situation like last year, when a girl who could barely run straight made the team. And I had peer facilitation training today, I have it tomorrow too. Basically it's just a peer counselor, and I have it for a whole mod, second semester this year. Definitely beats a real class.

3 comments Right, so my last two weeks? I had maybe four hours of free time, total, until today. Band camp 9-5 the first week, directly followed by work. Soccer from 8:30-noon, band from 10-5 (I went late) the second week, again followed directly by work. Soccer tryouts were this morning, but no band today. I'm glad I worked though... I've got money to buy a new phone now, I threw up on my current one last year [hey, I was sick, it was 4:30 AM, I was trying to check the time, and the phone slipped] and it hasn't charged right since. Hopefully I'll be getting a new one tomorrow.
So band camp was good. We have all of our first two songs on the field [there's only one more to go], which is one and a half more songs than we had last year, haha. Soccer camp was good as well, it was run by British players and we actually learned a few things.
blah blah blah... so obviously I haven't been doing much else. My new manager at work is a pain in the ass, as if I didn't hate my job already. All she does is clean, she doesn't work. Exactly four more months and I'm gone... four more months.

2 comments ... was amazing! I went to the beach with most of my cousins from my mom's side of the family... third vacation this year :] The highlight? The last night, ere we drove down to a different beach where I frequently stayed as a child and went to the arcade that we always used to go to... and it was twenty times more fun than it was back then. I found a DDR 3rdMix machine... which is crazy, they must've had that for ten years. It only cost fifty cents, and the maximum difficulty level [at least that I could find], was seven. It was amazingly old school...
Besides that, I thought I was getting tan, but I really just look like a normal person now, as opposed to my extreme paleness before.
Marching band starts Monday. Well, we have a clinic tomorrow, not run by the school, by the YEA. I know what that stands for, but it's slipping my mind right now, and the important part is that there's a drumcorps show afterwards. So of course I'm excited about that. But back to my original point, band camp, which I am not ready for. I'm supposed to have my music memorized, and naturally I don't... although I'm sure most people won't. I'll feel like a douche if I'm the only one who didn't bother to actually memorize the music... I mean,I can play it with music, and I'll probably have it down by the end of this week, but still. Oh well.

2 comments I went into work today for the first time in a week and a half [thank you vacation, soccer, and band!!] and as soon as I stepped into the door I felt like quitting. But then I ended up having an awesome time... the boss's daughter [who works there because he bought her a nice ass car and pays her insurance, repairs, and gas] was the only other person working in the kitchen, and we spent at least half an hour in front of the store feeding this stray dog pizza toppings and doing absolutely nothing. The dog technically belongs to a kid up the street, but just kind of lets it wander around aimlessly. It comes into the pizza shop sometimes, when we prop the door open... the scariest thing I've ever experienced is hearing a strage scratching noise on the floor while making ppizza alone, and looking up to see some random dog staring at you.
But anyways, I'm beginning to see how I might be able to survive at my current job until december/january. Not like I would actually quit until then, I'm not sure how I'd fare without a disposable income... I'm sure I'll figure that out if I ever get to college.

2 comments Soooo since it's been a few months since I've worked on this, I went back to post an entry and realized that I had completely forgotten my CuteNews username and password, therefore forcing me to delete and reinstall the whole thing.
Things that have happened to me i the past few months... nothing, really. I got a new computer, a wonderful Mac Mini, and I love it to death but it does not have enough space. I'm currently in the process of saving up to buy an external hard drive, while trying to keep the money I already have saved up to buy a car, except that I also would like to get a bigger memory stick for my camera. It all boils down to the fact that I get paid less than minimum wage [yes, that is in fact illegal, i don't know how my employer gets away with it] for working usually only around 12-15 hours a week. I'm an inch from quitting, but I know if I do, over the months until I get my license [during which I will be unemployed] I will deplete my entire car fund. So the suffering will continue...
